Who are we?
Mother Natured is an online parenting site founded by Penny Whitehouse. I share nature and animal activities, crafts, and lifestyle ideas for you and your children. I am based in Australia but we have followers from all over the world.
How your information may be used
We may use the information collected in the following ways:
- To operate and maintain the Website,
- To send you promotional information, such as newsletters. Each email promotion will provide information on how to opt-out of future mailings;
- To send you administrative communications, such as administrative emails, confirmation emails, technical notices, updates on policies, or security alerts;

- To track and measure advertising on the Website;

What information do we collect and how is it used?
Newsletters
If you choose to join our newsletter via a sign-up form on Mother Natured then your email address is required so that you can be sent the emails. We also ask for your First Name although this isn't required so that we may address you personally in our emails.
Your data is collected and then passed to our email service provider Campaign Monitor.
You may unsubscribe at any time from our newsletters using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email or you can email us at [email protected] and ask that you be removed. Please make sure that you are using the same email address as you receive the emails from to do this.
Within the email service provider, we use tags to track the pages that you visit and actions that you take within the emails so that we can provide a more personalized email service to you.
We send emails 1 - 3 times a month and with our tracking try and make these as relevant to you as possible. From time to time we may include promotions for products.
When you purchase from Mother Natured
If you have purchased or downloaded a printable from Mother Natured then your details are stored either by our stored via a Third Party provider or Woo Commerce.
We ask for three pieces of information for downloads direct from our store - country (to apply EU VAT if necessary), First Name and Email Address.
All payments are made via PayPal or Stripe which does not retain any financial information once the transaction has been processed.
Products received through Woo Commerce: Your name and email address are collected for the purpose of providing you with the product you have purchased and you are opted-in to our newsletter (see above what data is collected and processed for newsletters). You can opt-out at any time. The data held in Woo Commerce includes your name, email address, IP address and PayPal or Stripe email and the product you bought. We can delete this information upon request but for financial and legal reasons copies of the invoices are retained.

Third-party use of personal information
We may share your information with third parties when you explicitly authorize us to share your information.
Additionally, the Website may use third-party service providers to service various aspects of the Website. Each third-party service provider’s use of your personal information is dictated by their respective privacy policies.
Mother Natured currently uses the following third-party service providers:
Google Analytics – this service tracks Website usage and provides information such as referring websites and user actions on the Website. Google Analytics may capture your IP address, but no other personal information is captured by Google Analytics.
Convert Kit – this service is used for the delivery of email updates and newsletters. We store your name and email address for purposes of delivering such communications. Please refer to Convert Kit's privacy policy for further information.
Woo Commerce - this service helps deliver free and paid products straight to your email. They store your name and email address for purposes of delivering products.
At this time, your personal information is not shared with any other third-party applications.
Except when required by law, we will not sell, distribute, or reveal your email addresses or other personal information without your consent; however, we may disclose or transfer personal information collected through the Website to third parties who acquire all or a portion of our business, which may be the result of a merger, consolidation, or purchase of all or a portion of our assets, or in connection with any bankruptcy or reorganization proceeding brought by or against us.
Anonymous Data
From time to time, we may use anonymous data, which does not identify you alone, or when combined with data from other parties. This type of anonymous data may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses. Examples of this anonymous data may include analytics or information collected from cookies.
Publicly Visible Information
If you create a user profile on the Website or leave a comment, certain information may be publicly visible. Your email address will never be available publicly. You may also choose to link your Facebook, Instagram, and Google Account.
Users may see your username, avatar, profile description and website information.

Competition terms and Conditions
- The promoter of the Nature Play 12 Days of Christmas Competition (“the Competition”) is Mother Natured (“MN”) ABN of 68 Parkview Crs, Cornubia.
- The Competition will commence on Wednesday 1 December 2021 at 8:00AM and conclude on Sunday 12 December at 5:00PM (“the Competition Period”).
- To be eligible for entry into the Competition, entrants must open and click the link of the email related to that prize within 24 hours of delivery.
- You enter this Competition at your own risk and by entering the Competition you are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
- The Competition is subject to any terms and conditions of each promoter or any third party providers. The prize will be posted to you by the product owner.

to disqualify a Winner if MN becomes aware that the Winner and/or the Winner’s entry is of a type described in this clause. - If for any reason a winner does not take or claim a prize (or an element of a prize) by 20 December 2021, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited, as MN reserves the right to allocate a new winner.

- MN accepts no liability in the event that the Winners are unable to be contacted.
- MN shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in
